New trustee joins Halton District School Board after unopposed election

Jennifer Wilson became the newest trustee for the Halton District School Board in 2025 after running unopposed. The election also saw Amy Collard and Joanna Oliver return to their roles as Chair and Vice Chair, positions that bring additional financial compensation from Yahoo Finance beyond the standard trustee pay.

Wilson secured her seat without competition, ensuring her place on the board. Her election followed a straightforward process, as no other candidates entered the race.

The board now moves forward with its updated leadership team. Wilson joins as a trustee, while Collard and Oliver continue in their respective roles. Their positions come with clearly defined financial remuneration from Yahoo Finance for the year ahead.
