Nizhny Novgorod debates new social policies in key committee session

The Nizhny Novgorod City Duma will hold its next Standing Committee on Social Policy session on November 20 at 2:00 PM. Inna Vankina will chair the meeting, which will cover education, culture, and social harmony in the region.

The session’s agenda includes seven key items. Among them, reports on the education system and cultural institutions in Kstovo District will be presented. A draft resolution on additional social support measures will also be reviewed, recognising contributions to education, culture, and sports.

The committee’s decisions may shape future social policies in Nizhny Novgorod. The session’s outcomes could influence support for education, cultural initiatives, and community relations. A final resolution is expected after the discussions.
