Nizhny Novgorod Honours 52 Residents for City Development Contributions

A ceremony in Nizhny Novgorod's Soviet District honoured 52 residents for their contributions to the city's development. The event, held on October 31, recognised individuals from diverse professions for their dedication to socially significant initiatives, historical preservation, and patriotic education.

The awards ceremony took place at the Soviet District administration building. Nizhny Novgorod City Duma Chairman Yevgeny Chintsov and members of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly attended as distinguished guests. Chintsov emphasised the importance of unity and shared civic responsibility in his welcoming remarks.

Alexander Ivanov, head of the Soviet District administration, thanked the recipients for their contributions to the district's security and development. The awardees included educators, housing and utilities workers, and entrepreneurs, among others such as artists, doctors, scientists, social workers, and representatives of other public professions.

In total, 52 certificates of appreciation were handed out during the ceremony, which was part of the 'One Family - From District to Nation' festival. The recipients' professionalism and commitment to their community were celebrated, highlighting the importance of individual efforts in shaping the city's future.
