Nizhny Novgorod Offers State Support for Cultural Heritage Site Restorations
The Nizhny Novgorod region is offering state support to investors restoring cultural heritage sites. One such site, the Y.E. Bashkirov flour mill complex, is set for commercial use after years of neglect.
The mill complex, including its workers' dormitory, is owned by the municipality and has been declared dilapidated. The region's investment portal reveals plans to involve investors through sale or long-term lease. This follows the original announcement by Yury Efimovich Bashkirov, the complex's namesake.
Another cultural heritage site in the region, the building at International Street, 94A, is also seeking investors. The region's support measures aim to revitalise these historic structures while attracting investment.
The Nizhny Novgorod region is actively promoting the restoration of its cultural heritage sites. By offering state support and facilitating commercial involvement, the region hopes to preserve these historic buildings while stimulating investment and economic growth.
