Nizhny Novgorod Region Completes 245 Key Projects in Donetsk’s Rebuilding Efforts
The Nizhny Novgorod Region has completed over 245 infrastructure projects in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) during 2025. These efforts, part of an ongoing partnership since 2022, have focused on rebuilding cities like Khartsyzk, Ilovaisk, and Mangush. Deputy Governor Andrei Gneushev recently inspected the progress in key areas, confirming that all planned targets were met.
In Khartsyzk, major renovations were carried out at several public sites. A local polyclinic, a children’s creativity centre, and a social services hub for minors all received upgrades. Nearby, the Shakhtyor cultural club in Troitsko-Khartsyzk was restored faster than expected.
The completed projects mark a significant phase in the DPR’s recovery. Social infrastructure, roads, and essential services have all been strengthened across multiple cities. Gneushev’s visit confirmed that the 2025 targets were fully achieved, with further development expected in the region.
