Nizhny Novgorod Region Offers Free Parking for Large Families
Large families in the Nizhny Novgorod region have been granted a significant benefit. From now on, all vehicles registered in their name will enjoy free parking. This decision, part of the regional demographic program 'Osnova', was adopted by the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly on October 30.
The program, led by Governor Gleb Nikitin, aims to support families in various ways. One of its key initiatives is the 'Parental Basic Income', which encourages women to continue their pregnancies. The new parking perk is an addition to the existing benefits, which previously allowed only one vehicle per family to park for free.
Vladimir Soldatenkov, chairman of the Transport and Road Infrastructure Committee, endorses this extension. He deems it logical and fair. Yevgeny Lyulin, Speaker of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly, also backs this change, highlighting its positive impact on large families' mobility needs. The program's success has been recognised by Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council, who praised Governor Nikitin's work in demographic policy.
The Nizhny Novgorod region continues to support large families through its 'Osnova' program. The recent addition of free parking for all family vehicles is expected to ease the burden on these families. The regional government encourages residents to stay informed about such benefits through platforms like Telegram, VK, and Zen.
