Nizhny Novgorod’s anti-scam contest exposes financial fraud tactics before deadline
A social advertising contest in Nizhny Novgorod is nearing its deadline. Organised for the third year running, the 'Don’t Trust—Verify' competition focuses on exposing financial scams. Participants have until December 14 to submit their work.
The contest is a joint effort with the Nizhny Novgorod Prosecutor’s Office. It targets common finance tactics, including phone scams, banking fraud, and online deception. Submissions must also cover impersonation of officials, AI-assisted fraud, cryptocurrency schemes, and financial pyramid schemes.
The deadline for submissions is December 14. Winners will be announced after the judging period. The contest continues its focus on raising public awareness of money fraud in the region.
