Nizhny Novgorod’s Avtozavodsky District Named Cleanest in the City
Nizhny Novgorod’s Avtozavodsky District has been recognised as the city’s cleanest neighbourhood. The announcement came from Mayor Vadim Bulavinov during an inspection tour on October 16. He highlighted the area’s efforts as part of an ongoing autumn beautification campaign.
The campaign began on October 5 and will run until November 4. During his visit, Bulavinov observed schoolchildren, local residents, and municipal workers taking part in cleaning and landscaping activities.
The district’s success reflects a coordinated effort between officials, residents, and services. With the campaign still underway, further improvements are expected before its conclusion in early November. The recognition sets a benchmark for other neighbourhoods in Nizhny Novgorod.
