Nizhny Novgorod’s heartfelt campaign lets residents send letters to moms in need
A new campaign called Write a Letter to Mom has launched in Nizhny Novgorod ahead of Mother’s Day. Organised by United Russia’s Public Support Headquarters, the initiative invites residents to send handwritten cards and letters to their mothers. The effort is part of broader projects promoting family values in the region.
The campaign runs until November 28, with a collection point set up at 2a Malaya Pokrovskaya Street. Participants can drop off their messages there. Some of the cards will also be delivered to a local hospital in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as to military personnel stationed in the oblast and the special military operation zone.
Cards and letters submitted by the deadline will be distributed to mothers across the region. The campaign provides a way for residents to honour their mothers while supporting those in hospitals and military service. Further details can be found at the headquarters on Malaya Pokrovskaya Street.
