Nordhorn seeks public input on Old School Bimolten’s future at September event

Nordhorn invites locals to discuss plans for the Old School Bimolten and its surroundings. This is the second major communal project in the Verbundregion, following the successful renovation of the Dorfgemeinschaftshaus Bookholt.

The event, scheduled for September 9, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, will showcase concepts and preliminary designs of the renovations. Representatives from the commissioned planning office and the municipal building department will be present to engage with the public and answer queries.

Citizens are encouraged to share their wishes and suggestions on a dedicated pinboard. An information stand will also provide details about other Dorfentwicklung projects in the Nordhorn - Neuenhaus - Lage region. The event will take place in the entrance area of the Old School at Schoolsteege 8.

Funding applications for the renovations will be submitted following the main event. The city of Nordhorn aims to transform the Old School Bimolten and its open spaces, building on the success of previous communal projects.
