North Korea unveils new 50-megawatt power station in Kangwon Province
North Korea has officially opened a new power station in Kangwon Province. The Hoeyang Army-People Power Station was unveiled in a ceremony led by leader Kim Jong-un. The facility marks another step in the country’s energy development efforts.
The inauguration took place yesterday with a formal event. Kim Jong-un attended and delivered a speech to mark the occasion. The ceremony highlighted the station’s role in supporting both military and civilian power needs.
The Hoeyang Army-People Power Station is now operational. Its 50-megawatt output will contribute to Kangwon Province’s electricity supply. The project follows North Korea’s ongoing focus on expanding its energy infrastructure.
