North London entrepreneur secures Dragons' Den deals for sea moss wellness brand
Rome Haghighat, a North London entrepreneur, has secured investment for his wellness brand after appearing on Dragons' Den. The Tottenham-based founder launched the business in 2024, selling sea moss-based supplements, gels, and soaps. Four investors from the show made offers, with Haghighat ultimately accepting three of them.
Haghighat entered the Den seeking £100,000 in exchange for 10% of his company. The brand, which focuses on beauty, detox, and workout products, reported £55,000 in revenue and £8,000 profit in its first year. All four male Dragons—Steven Bartlett, Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, and Tinie Tempah—put forward identical proposals: £33,333 each for 10% equity.
Haghighat accepted deals from Bartlett, Jones, and Tempah, giving away a combined 42% stake. The terms included a clause reducing the equity to 21% if the full investment is repaid within 24 months. No public data exists on the company's financial performance beyond its first year. The product range includes capsules, gels, and soaps made from sea moss and other natural ingredients. Haghighat's pitch highlighted the growing demand for wellness supplements, positioning his brand as a competitor in the health market.
The deal leaves Haghighat with three high-profile backers and a reduced equity share. If the investment is repaid on time, his ownership will increase again. The brand now aims to expand its reach in the wellness sector with the Dragons' support.
