Novorossiysk Completes Major Heating System Overhaul for Winter
The municipality of Novorossiysk has completed a major overhaul of its heating system this year, with the support of the governor's national project 'Infrastructure for Life'. The project has seen 14 km of heat networks updated, benefiting several hospitals and schools across the city.
The reconstruction, which cost over 33 million rubles, has improved the heating infrastructure in key areas. The hospitals 'Krankenhaus Nordwest' and 'Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst' have been equipped with modern heat networks, as have schools No. 3 and 20, and the Batyrino rural settlement. The updated heat mains in Bryukhovetskaya Central District Hospital will ensure reliable heating for patients and staff.
The heating season in Novorossiysk is set to begin on October 20, following a decree signed by Sergei Ganja, the head of the municipality. Social facilities will be prioritised for heat connection, starting from October 16 based on consumer requests. The main heating season will commence once the average daily air temperature remains below 8 degrees for five consecutive days.
The successful completion of the heating system updates will ensure a comfortable winter for residents and patients across Novorossiysk. The municipality's commitment to improving infrastructure has resulted in a modern, efficient heating network ready to face the upcoming cold season.
