Novorossiysk’s House of Friendship Unites Cultures on Unity Day
A new hub for cultural unity and heritage preservation has opened in Novorossiysk. The House of Friendship, inaugurated on Unity Day, aims to foster interethnic harmony and celebrate the city's diverse cultural landscape.
The House of Friendship, a multifunctional resource center, will serve as a gathering place for those interested in national unity and cultural exploration. It is home to the city's first Ethnographic Museum of the Peoples of Novorossiysk, which will host exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and public events.
Veniamin Ivanovich Kondratyev, the governor of Krasnodar Krai, extended Unity Day greetings to the residents of Kuban. He praised the House of Friendship as a symbol of unity and cultural diversity. The opening ceremony honored Lazim Seidilaev, a senior warrant officer and veteran from the Lezgin community, for his heroism and long-standing service to the region.
The House of Friendship will serve as a hub for ethnic and cultural associations in Novorossiysk. It is expected to promote interethnic unity and preserve cultural heritage, contributing to the city's rich tapestry of traditions.
