Oettinger Beverages strengthens leadership with two new executive appointments

Oettinger Beverages has completed its executive board with two new appointments. Thilo R. Pomykala and Dominika Steinberg will take on key leadership roles at the company. The move strengthens the management team of one of Germany's largest beverage producers, which fills around one billion bottles and cans each year. Thilo R. Pomykala will officially join Oettinger on 1 April. He brings extensive experience from over six years as managing director at Hochwald, where he led sales, marketing, and innovation. Before that, he worked at Unilever, Semper idem Underberg AG, Meggle, and Hochland. Pia Kollmar, owner and managing director of Oettinger, highlighted his strong background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, both in Germany and internationally.

At Hochwald, Pomykala played a central role in shaping the company's strategy and driving major industry initiatives. His appointment follows years of leadership in developing brands and expanding market reach. Dominika Steinberg, already a long-standing employee at Oettinger since 2015, will now join the executive board. Previously head of HR and IT, she will take on additional responsibility for production and technology. Her expanded role reflects the company's focus on operational efficiency and technological advancement. Oettinger remains a major player in Germany's beverage market, producing around 6.6 million hectoliters of beer in 2024 alone. Of this, 2.4 million hectoliters were exported, placing it seventh among the country's top breweries by volume.

The new appointments complete Oettinger's executive board as the company continues to strengthen its leadership. Pomykala's expertise in FMCG and Steinberg's deep knowledge of the business are expected to support Oettinger's growth. The firm maintains its position as one of Germany's largest beverage producers, with an annual output of roughly six million hectoliters.
