Offenbach bus services grind to a halt in May 29 warning strike
Bus services in Offenbach will face major disruptions on Monday, May 29, due to a warning strike. The Verdi union has called for industrial action, targeting employees of the Hessian Bus Operators’ Association (LHO). Many routes will either stop running or operate with severe limitations.
The strike involves workers from multiple transport companies, including MMO Main Mobil Offenbach and Offenbach Public Transport (OVB). Transdev, another operator in the region, will also see some of its staff participating.
The warning strike will bring most bus services in Offenbach to a halt on May 29. Travellers relying on public transport should plan alternative arrangements or verify service availability online. The action is part of wider industrial negotiations led by the Verdi union.
