Offenbach District’s population climbs to 364,457 amid urban growth trends

The Offenbach District has experienced steady population growth in recent years. As of 2023, the area is home to 364,457 residents. New figures also reveal shifts in migration and urban development across its largest towns and cities.

Rodgau remains the district’s most populous city, with 46,683 residents. Dreieich follows closely at 42,389, while Langen has 40,009 people. Neu-Isenburg and Dietzenbach, the district capital, count 39,420 and 35,268 inhabitants respectively.

The Offenbach District continues to expand, with both internal growth and inward migration shaping its demographics. The latest data confirms its status as a densely populated region, with Rodgau, Dreieich, and Langen leading in urban population size. Official records also note that, by November 2025, 168,960 residents had tested positive for coronavirus since 2023.
