Offenbach kiosk hit by overnight burglars stealing €1,000 and an empty safe
Unknown burglars targeted a kiosk on Christian-Pleß-Straße in Offenbach overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. They forced their way in between 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m., making off with about €1,000 in cash and an empty safe.
The perpetrators gained entry by prying open the door to the kiosk. Once inside, they ransacked the sales area, opening several packages. They managed to steal approximately €1,000 from the registers. The owner confirmed that the safe they took was empty.
The Offenbach Criminal Police's burglary unit is currently investigating the incident. Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity during the night is urged to contact them at +49 69 8098-1234.
