Synagogue Vandalized - Offenbach Synagogue Defaced with Political Graffiti in Bold Attack
The incident took place along a sidewalk, with the perpetrator acting on foot. Witnesses described the suspect as a man dressed entirely in black, wearing a cap and white shoes. His face was partially covered, and he carried a light-coloured bag or tote.
The State Security Division of the Southeast Hesse Police Headquarters is now handling the case. Authorities have released no further details about the suspect’s identity or possible motives. The gold-coloured graffiti, described as a politico slogan, remains visible on the building.
Investigators continue to search for the man involved in the vandalism. The synagogue’s exterior wall still bears the graffiti, and no arrests have been made. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
