Offenbach’s Left Party launches 2026 election campaign with diverse slate

The Left Party has kicked off its campaign for Offenbach’s 2026 municipal elections. The local branch approved its candidate list, led by Gizem Erinç-Çiftçi and Markus Philippi. The party plans to connect with voters through workplace visits, doorstep chats, and information stalls across the city.

The newly approved list features a diverse group of candidates. Over half are women, and the average age of the top contenders is 38. Queer and migrant voices are also strongly represented. The mix includes both seasoned officeholders and newcomers to politics.

The Left Party’s campaign is now underway, with a focus on direct engagement and housing reform. The candidate list reflects a blend of experience and fresh perspectives. Voters will see the party’s presence grow in the months leading up to the 2026 elections.
