Ohligs: Postal Voting Options for Mayor Runoff Election
With the mayoral runoff election deadline looming, voters in Ohligs have several options for postal voting this week. The postal voting office at Grünstraße 2 is currently open and will remain so until 6:00 PM today. It will reopen on Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Voting documents can also be submitted on Sunday between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the Aula of the August-Dicke-Schule. However, postal voting documents must be deposited in one of the city's postal boxes by Sunday, 3:00 PM. Any documents that do not arrive at the electoral office by Sunday at the latest will not be considered in the count.
For those who miss the postal voting deadlines, in-person voting is still an option. Voters can personally submit their voting papers between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Friday, January 15th, directly at the city hall (Rathaus) election office. Here, they can also fill out the postal vote documents and immediately cast them into the designated ballot box, bypassing the postal route. Additionally, voters can still cast their ballots at any polling station until 6:00 PM on Sunday.
The postal voting office will remain closed from Saturday onwards. With the deadline for direct postal voting approaching, voters are encouraged to make use of the available options to ensure their voices are heard in the mayoral runoff election.
