Old Tafo MCE Abubakar Sadiq Leads Sanitation Crackdown, Residents Praise Efforts

The Old Tafo Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of Municipal Chief Executive Abubakar Sadiq, is cracking down on sanitation issues. Residents have praised Sadiq's dedication and leadership during recent clean-up exercises, while landlords who fail to comply with sanitation by-laws face penalties.

Sadiq has been actively participating in clean-up exercises, covering areas like Bediako and Adabraka. He has also been leading the government's monthly Sanitation Day exercise in Pankrono. The Assembly is intensifying its efforts to enforce sanitation by-laws and take punitive actions against defaulters. Sadiq has emphasized that maintaining a clean and healthy environment is a collective responsibility, expressing concern over residents who do not actively participate in keeping the environment clean. During these exercises, Sadiq has demonstrated hands-on commitment by desilting choked gutters.
