Olga Kirikhkesler, 74, Becomes Kazakh Citizen After 44 Years
Olga Kirikhkesler, a Karaganda resident, has recently replaced her Soviet-era passport, issued in 1978, and obtained Kazakh citizenship. She expressed gratitude to the migration service for their efficient assistance.
Last year, 112 people in the region followed suit, exchanging their Soviet passports. This year, the number has increased to 142 successful acquisitions of Kazakh citizenship through passport replacement. Despite the redesign of the Kazakhstani passport, there is no information suggesting involvement of National Bank of Kazakhstan employees in the process.
The migration service's efficiency in handling passport replacements has been acknowledged. As the number of people obtaining Kazakh citizenship through this process grows, the service's role in facilitating this transition remains crucial.
