Omsk College Faces Warning After Shocking Ethical Violations Exposed

Omsk Technical College has faced an official warning after an investigation uncovered serious ethical violations. The Omsk Region Education Ministry found that administrators used derogatory language, pressured students, and intruded into their private lives. The probe also revealed unjustified disciplinary actions and a failure to maintain professional standards.

The investigation began following reports of misconduct by college staff. One female student claimed the administration demanded her mother's phone number and threatened her with expulsion. Another student was forced to transfer after the deputy director allegedly pressured her into withdrawing her documents.

During the inquiry, officials confirmed that students had been subjected to humiliation and verbal abuse. The deputy director was recorded telling a student, 'You should just shut your mouth.' The ministry also found that teaching methods did not align with students' needs or interests, breaching the college's own ethical code. As a result, the Education Ministry issued an official warning to the institution. The order prohibits such behaviour in the future and requires the college to uphold standards of courtesy and professionalism.

The ministry's findings confirm multiple violations of pedagogical ethics at Omsk Technical College. The warning mandates immediate changes to prevent further misconduct. No public statements have been made by the college or the Omsk Education Authority regarding the case.
