Omsk's Top Business Leaders Vie for Patron of the Year 2025 Award

Three Omsk business leaders have been shortlisted for the Patron of the Year – 2025 award. Their contributions range from school renovations to new playgrounds and kindergartens. The winner will be announced at a city council meeting in April, timed with Patron's Day celebrations.

Alexander Sasin, CEO of Stroybeton, is among the nominees for the third year running. His company recently renovated Sports School No. 15 and the Molodost Club in Pervokirpichny. Additionally, Stroybeton is funding a 140-place kindergarten in the Amur-2 residential area, set to open in autumn 2026. Sasin previously won the award in 2023 and 2024.

Shamil Shikhmirzaev, head of Promstroykomplekt-Service, is also in contention. His firm is currently restoring a historic building on Bulatov Street to house Gymnasuim No. 85.

The final nominee, Andrey Bondarenko, leads AB Transport Company. He recently funded a modern playground near School No. 71.

All three candidates received unanimous approval from the selection committee. No other projects by Sasin or Stroybeton have been reported since 2024.

The award ceremony will take place during the April city council session. The chosen patron will be recognised for their direct impact on Omsk's education and community infrastructure. No further nominations are expected before the announcement.
