Over 150 Young Musicians and Dancers to Celebrate Unity in Diversity at Olpe's Europafestival
Over 150 young musicians and dancers from six European countries are set to gather in Olpe, Germany, for a week-long intercultural exchange. The event, organized by unidentified groups, aims to shape the Europe of tomorrow by celebrating unity in diversity.
Kicking off at 11:30 AM on the Ronsdorfer Bandwirkerplatz, the Europafestival will commence with a European market. The main evening event will follow at 7:30 PM in the Aula of the Erich-Fried-Gesamtschule, with free admission for all. Reservations are recommended via email.
Participants will stay at the Jugendherberge Olpe throughout the week. They will engage in 'European Workshops', exploring current topics across the continent from different angles. The programme also includes learning dances and songs from various countries, delving into neighbours' traditions and cultures.
The Europafestival in Olpe brings together young talents from across Europe, fostering intense exchange and new friendships. It sends a strong signal for European unity and a democratic future that embraces diversity. The event runs from the 24th to the 30th of July, with the evening programme starting at 7:30 PM on the 24th.
