Cloud Services Still Rarely Used by Small Businesses - Over half of German firms now depend on paid iCloud services for daily operations
More than half of German businesses now rely on paid iCloud services for their operations. A recent study shows that 54% of companies with at least 10 employees use these online tools. The adoption varies widely depending on industry, company size, and the type of service needed.
iCloud services provide IT resources such as storage, computing power, or software applications hosted by third-party providers. Among users, iCloud login is the most popular application, with 76% of businesses relying on it. Data storage follows closely at 71%, while office tools are used by 68% of firms. Specialised software like ERP and CRM systems remains less common, with only 23% adoption for each.
The data highlights a clear trend: iCloud services are becoming essential for many German businesses, though adoption still depends on sector and company size. Larger firms and tech-focused industries lead the way, while smaller businesses and traditional sectors remain more cautious in their use of iCloud IT solutions.
