PackTage 2025: Strobel's Sustainable Packaging Showcase
Langenzenn recently hosted PackTage 2025, a packaging-focused event organized by Strobel GmbH. The two-day affair drew visitors who primarily traveled to Langenzenn, rather than combining it with FachPack in Nuremberg. The event was well-received and highlighted Strobel's commitment to sustainability and face-to-face business relationships.
Strobel GmbH, established in 1978 and employing around 60 people, specializes in polyethylene and composite film packaging. The company participated in Bavaria’s Environmental Pact, demonstrating its dedication to resource-efficient production and corporate responsibility. This commitment was evident at PackTage 2025, where Martin Strobel, COO of Technology, Production & Logistics, unveiled a new eco-friendly processing system and emphasized strict hygiene standards.
The event offered visitors a behind-the-scenes look at modern packaging film production through factory tours. It also featured expert presentations, including one by Matthias Mandel, COO of Sales & Marketing, on reducing material usage and costs in packaging. Strobel's sustainability focus was echoed in its motto, 'Your choice matters'. Despite the event's success, the origins of attendees and their travel plans remained unclear, as did any connections to FachPack in Nuremberg.
PackTage 2025, hosted by Strobel GmbH, proved to be a successful and well-attended event, showcasing the company's commitment to sustainability and business relationships. The event offered insights into modern packaging production and provided valuable industry information. Strobel's participation in the Environmental Pact and its eco-friendly initiatives further cemented its reputation as a responsible packaging provider.
