Pakistan and Dhaka University forge new academic partnerships in landmark visit
A six-member delegation from Pakistan recently visited Dhaka University to explore academic partnerships. Led by Jehanzeb Khan, the delegation included members from various universities and academies across Pakistan. During the meeting, Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, vice-chancellor of Dhaka University, provided an overview of the university’s history and ongoing activities. He highlighted the value of international cooperation in boosting academic and research efforts. The visit marks a step toward closer academic ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Dhaka University and the Pakistani delegation agreed to pursue joint research and educational initiatives, with a focus on collaboration with institutions like the University of Florida and Khan Academy. Further discussions are expected to finalise concrete collaboration plans.
