Partial Collector Reopening in Nizhny Novgorod; Terraced Park Project Faces Delays
A section of the collector in Small Pokrovskaya Street to the Lykovaya dam has been partially rebuilt and is now ready for use. Meanwhile, work continues on various aspects of the terraced park project in Pochainsky ravine, Nizhny Novgorod, with the contractor, 'Mostovik', previously issued a warning for delays and safety violations.
The company 'Mostovik' is responsible for the construction of the terraced park in Pochainsky gorge. They are currently working on constructing stairs, parapets, and sidewalks, as well as continuing work on the tunnel, bridge, and amphitheater. The project was initially slated for completion by November 2023, with work commencing late last year.
In the Pochainsky ravine, workers are leveling slopes, laying the amphitheater base, and the traction substation foundation. The foundation for the future pedestrian bridge and retaining walls along Haritonova Street is also being laid. However, the deadline for this project has been extended to an indefinite date. The municipal institution 'GUMMiD' is reviewing the completion dates according to the municipal contract.
Work on the pedestrian tunnel under the Lykovaya dam has been completed, and waterproofing is currently in progress.
While the collector section from Small Pokrovskaya Street to the Lykovaya dam is now ready, the terraced park project in Pochainsky ravine faces an indefinite deadline extension. The contractor, 'Mostovik', has previously received a warning for delays and safety violations.
