Peaceful Morbach protest unfolds alongside CDU state conference

A peaceful demonstration against federal government policies took place in Morbach on Saturday. Around 110 protesters gathered as the town also hosted the 77th state party conference of Rhineland-Palatinate’s CDU. The demonstration proceeded without incident, following all agreements made with local authorities. Police confirmed no disruptions or criminal complaints arose during the event. The protest ended without conflict, and the CDU conference concluded as planned. Police reported a smooth operation, with no further action required after the events.
