Peaceful protests unfold in Neumünster’s city centre amid heavy police presence

Several public assemblies with differing political views took place in Neumünster’s Kansas City centre this Saturday. Authorities deployed a large police presence to maintain order and keep traffic disruptions to a minimum.

The main rally, organised by the Citizens’ Initiative Northern Germany, drew around 700 participants. Meanwhile, a counter-demonstration by the Association for Tolerance and Civil Courage gathered about 250 people. Another smaller gathering occurred at the Friedrichstraße post car park at 12 PM, though its organisers remain unidentified.

The day’s events concluded without incident, with no reports of unrest or clashes. Traffic restrictions were lifted by late afternoon, allowing normal activity to resume in the city centre.
