Spit and kicked at police officers - Pforzheim duo arrested after violent clash with police leaves officers injured

A man and a woman in Pforzheim have been arrested after allegedly damaging a quad bike and assaulting police officers. The confrontation left three officers injured, with one unable to return to duty. Both suspects now face multiple charges.

The incident began on Tuesday when a 57-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were seen striking a quad bike. Their motives for damaging the vehicle remain unclear. When officers approached to question them, the woman attempted to flee.

Both suspects now face charges of assaulting law enforcement, resisting arrest, causing bodily harm, and property damage. The injured officers received medical attention, though one was unable to resume duty. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
