A violent attack in Pforzheim’s city centre has left a 24-year-old man in hospital with critical injuries. The incident unfolded late at night after a dispute inside a bar escalated into a knife assault outside the venue. Police have since arrested a 22-year-old suspect in connection with the case.

The altercation began inside a local bar before moving onto the street. Witnesses described how the 22-year-old suspect suddenly pulled out a sharp object and lunged at the victim. The 24-year-old suffered severe injuries and was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.

Following the attack, police detained the suspect. A magistrate at Karlsruhe District Court later issued an arrest warrant on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
