PM Modi Inaugurates Rs 13,430 Crore Projects, Discusses GST Reforms in Andhra Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh, marking his first trip to this sacred site and the fourth Prime Minister to do so after Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and P.V. Narasimha Rao. His visit coincided with several significant developments.
During his visit, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for and inaugurated infrastructure and industrial projects worth around Rs 13,430 crore across key sectors. He also visited the Sree Shivaji Spoorthi Kendra, a memorial complex honouring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's historic visit to Srisailam in 1677.
Later, the Prime Minister addressed a public meeting titled 'Super GST Super Saving' in Nannuru village. Here, he discussed new GST reforms with prominent figures including state Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other key officials involved in the development projects unveiled during his visit.
PM Modi's visit to Srisailam was not only a religious pilgrimage but also a significant step in boosting Andhra Pradesh's development. The projects inaugurated and the GST reforms discussed are expected to bring substantial benefits to the region and its people.
