PM Phạm Minh Chính Maps Thanh Hoá's Future at 20th Party Congress
Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has outlined a vision for Thanh Hoá Province's future at the 20th Party Congress. He urged the province to focus on four economic growth hubs and prioritise key tasks for rapid, sustainable development.
PM Chính emphasised the need for Thanh Hoá to grasp and implement the resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress and its own 20th Party Congress. He highlighted five breakthroughs, including economic restructuring and renewal through science, technology, and digital transformation.
The province should prioritise personnel work, developing a capable contingent of cadres and Party members. The congress reported an estimated annual GRDP growth of 10.24 per cent between 2021 and 2025, ranking fourth nationwide. For the next five years, the provincial Party Organisation aims to maintain double-digit growth and position Thanh Hoá as a major centre for energy, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and logistics.
PM Chính delivered the keynote speech at the 20th Party Congress, urging Thanh Hoá to advance socio-cultural development, strengthen defence and security, and enhance external relations. He also stressed the importance of building a clean and strong Party and political system, applying democratic centralism and intra-Party solidarity.
