The Prime Minister stressed the importance of maintaining a balanced approach to product safety and quality management, emphasising the principle of 'no loosening, no over-tightening'. He called for a review and adjustment of national technical standards to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
To improve post-inspection efficiency, the shift towards a risk-based approach was noted, with a focus on medium and high-risk products. The Prime Minister also urged an accelerated digital transformation and simplification of administrative procedures to boost productivity and competitiveness.
He emphasised the need for a national database and shared digital platform to facilitate data exchange and enhance transparency. The Ministry of Science and Technology was tasked with drafting a decree to guide the implementation of related laws, while relevant ministries and agencies were requested to review and amend legal regulations to align with current requirements.
International standards were highlighted as a key reference for Vietnam's standards and regulations.
