PN Leadership Shakeup: Saifuddin Steps Down, Tuan Ibrahim Takes Over in Pahang
Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah has stepped down as the Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman in Pahang. The move is part of a wider leadership shuffle aimed at introducing fresh faces and strengthening PN's push for 'PN Leading Pahang'.
Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has been appointed as the new PN chairman in Pahang, replacing Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah. The change was confirmed in a PN Supreme Council meeting chaired by PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah has offered the Indera Mahkota Parliamentary Service Centre to continue serving as the Secretariat Office for PN Pahang's elected representatives.
In Perlis, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, a PN member and parliamentarian, has taken over as the new PN chairman, replacing Perlis Chief Minister Mohd Shukri Ramli. The leadership shuffle was announced by PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man and Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim have been appointed as the new PN chairmen in Pahang and Perlis, respectively. Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah has offered his support to the new leadership, expressing his congratulations to Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
