Police Arrest Duo for High-Tech Car Burglaries in Charlottenburg
Police in Charlottenburg have arrested a 31-year-old man and a 16-year-old juvenile in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries. The suspects are believed to have used advanced tools to disrupt car security systems. Investigators discovered that the duo had employed a signal jammer to interfere with the remote locking systems of their targeted vehicles. This device, along with other burglary tools, was seized by police during the arrest. The suspects were initially observed acting suspiciously on Rankestraße, showing particular interest in high-end vehicles. The 16-year-old was later seen entering and exiting a parked Mercedes, raising the suspicions of nearby witnesses who alerted the authorities. Both suspects were taken into custody and transferred to a specialized police unit for further questioning. The 31-year-old man remains unidentified at this time. Police urge anyone with information about the incident or similar cases to come forward.
