Police Hunt Black BMW SUV After Attempted Murder in Berlin
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted murder in the early hours of October 14, 2025. Shots were fired at a driver on Gustav-Freytag-Straße, with the suspect fleeing the scene in a black BMW X5.
The incident occurred around 0:05 AM near number 1 on Gustav-Freytag-Straße. The victim, who was inside a vehicle, managed to escape and was pursued by the perpetrator(s) towards Ebersstraße and Dominicusstraße. The suspect, who remains at large, is believed to have been driving a black BMW X5, possibly a BMW M5, with temporary or transit license plates. Police are urging anyone who may have seen the vehicle or the incident to come forward. The motive behind the shooting is currently unknown.
The police investigation into the attempted murder is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the local police station. The victim's condition and identity have not been disclosed to protect their privacy.
