Police Vehicle Collision in Tegel Injures Officers

Yesterday morning, a serious traffic accident involving a Ram truck occurred at the intersection of Waidmannslustrer Damm and Hermsdorfer Damm in Tegel. The incident, which took place at 8:15 AM, resulted in injuries to several police officers. The investigation is currently being handled by a specialized traffic crimes unit from Police Directorate 1 (North).

The Ram truck, traveling on Waidmannslustrer Damm towards Waidmannslust with special and priority rights, collided with a 75-year-old truck driver. Despite the collision, the truck driver and another person in the truck remained unharmed. The police driver suffered shock, while her colleague on the passenger seat sustained neck injuries. Another officer also sustained an arm injury. All injured officers were promptly taken to a hospital for further treatment.
