Polish robbery suspect arrested at German-Dutch border checkpoint

Federal police have arrested a 21-year-old Polish man at the German-Dutch border. The suspect was wanted on a remand warrant linked to a robbery investigation. Officers detained him during a routine check on a cross-border bus. The arrest happened at the Bentheimer Wald rest area along the A30 motorway. Police were conducting internal border checks, which had been temporarily reinstated. They boarded a bus travelling from the Netherlands to Poland and identified the man as the suspect.
