Polish robbery suspect arrested at German-Dutch border checkpoint
Federal police have arrested a 21-year-old Polish man at the German-Dutch border. The suspect was wanted on a remand warrant linked to a robbery investigation. Officers detained him during a routine check on a cross-border bus. The arrest happened at the Bentheimer Wald rest area along the A30 motorway. Police were conducting internal border checks, which had been temporarily reinstated. They boarded a bus travelling from the Netherlands to Poland and identified the man as the suspect. The suspect now faces legal action over the robbery allegations. His arrest came as part of heightened border security measures. Authorities have not released further details about the case.
