Porsche with Hand-Painted Plates Impounded in Berlin, Driver Arrested

The Porsche's license plates were found to belong to a different vehicle, and the 21-year-old driver was operating the car without a valid license. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver faces charges for license plate misuse, driving without a license, and violating compulsory insurance laws.
Earlier in the evening, around 11:45 p.m., officers from Police Directorate 1 (North) stopped a vehicle in the Märkisches Viertel district due to suspicious behavior and a rapid change of drivers. The 20-year-old driver was also unlicensed and without proper insurance coverage. This incident was part of a special operation targeting arson attacks on cars, car theft, and theft from cars. The case has been referred to a specialized unit within the same police directorate for further investigation.
