Unknown thieves steal 11 pregnant sheep from barn - Pregnant Sheep Stolen in Goslar District, Germany
Eleven heavily pregnant sheep, a mix of Blackhead and Bluefaced Leicester breeds, were stolen from a barn in the Goslar district. The theft occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on October 30, 2025, on Wilhelm-Busch-Straße in Rhüden. Each sheep is valued at around €250.
The thieves separated the pregnant ewes from the males and herded them across a pasture before loading them onto a vehicle near the adjacent fields. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
The stolen sheep are a significant loss for the farmer, with each animal valued at €250. Anyone with information regarding the theft is urged to contact the police.
