Premier Li Qiang Visits Singapore to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Premier Li Qiang of China arrived in Singapore on Saturday for an official visit. He was welcomed at the airport by Singapore's Minister for Digital Development and Information, Josephine Teo, and Chinese Ambassador to Singapore, Cao Zhongming. The visit comes at the invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
During his visit, Premier Li noted the progress in bilateral relations under the strategic leadership of President Xi Jinping and Singapore's leaders. He emphasized the importance of deepening political trust, practical cooperation, and closer people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
Li highlighted the positive momentum in China-Singapore relations over the past 35 years. He stated that China is eager to collaborate with Singapore to align development strategies and expand cooperation.
Premier Li Qiang's visit to Singapore aims to strengthen the bond between the two nations. Both sides are expected to explore new areas of cooperation and build on the existing positive momentum in their bilateral relations.
