Prime Minister reviews higher education safety and operational reforms

His Highness the Prime Minister recently met with Education Minister Al-Mailem and university officials to review the current state of higher education. The discussions focused on strengthening safety measures and ensuring the smooth operation of academic activities across institutions.

During the meeting, university staff presented an approved field management system designed to monitor facilities and improve coordination. This system aims to enhance readiness and enable faster responses in various situations.

His Highness praised the dedication of university employees and recognised their contributions to national development. He also reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting educational institutions with necessary resources. Plans were discussed to integrate technical solutions into teaching methods, though no updates were provided on recent digital infrastructure upgrades. Additionally, the meeting emphasised closer collaboration with government agencies to safeguard students and teaching staff.

The Prime Minister's visit highlighted the importance of preparedness in education. The newly introduced field management system and strengthened inter-agency coordination are expected to improve safety and operational efficiency. Further steps will depend on the implementation of these measures in the coming months.
