Primorsky Krai governor vows to fix crumbling roads and drainage woes
Residents from Primorsky Krai’s special military operation zone recently met with Governor Oleg Kozhemyako to discuss pressing local concerns. Issues ranged from poor road conditions in Ussuriysk to drainage problems in Chuguyevka village, with officials pledging swift action on both fronts.
During the meeting, residents highlighted the deteriorating state of Telman Street in Ussuriysk. Dust from the unpaved surface has become a persistent nuisance, prompting calls for repairs. Kozhemyako responded by promising a temporary fix and confirming that a full asphalt overhaul would be included in next year’s budget.
The governor’s office has committed to addressing the drainage and road quality issues raised by residents. Temporary measures for Telman Street will begin soon, while Sibirskaya Street’s repairs are now a priority before the next rainy season.
