Prince William opens up about parenting and Kate’s health during Brazil visit
Prince William, second in line to the British throne, recently visited Brazil for the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). During his trip, the Prince discussed family matters, including his wife Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis, and his approach to parenting.
William, who is father to Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7), believes in being open with his children. He revealed that he and Kate chose to discuss her health issues with their kids, stating that 'hiding things from children doesn't work'. The Prince, who strives to be present in his children's daily lives, may allow Prince George to have a mobile phone with limited access in the future.
During his three-day visit to Brazil, William attended The Earthshot Prize, an environmental award he founded and chairs. He also addressed family issues in an interview with Brazilian presenter Luciano Huck, highlighting that every family faces its own struggles and challenges.
Prince William's trip to Brazil saw him balance his royal duties with discussing personal family matters. His openness with his children about Princess Kate's health reflects his parenting approach, while his attendance at The Earthshot Prize demonstrates his commitment to environmental causes.
