A 52-year-old farmer and director, Azamat Batanov, has been tragically murdered. Batanov, born on January 24, 1973, in Petropavl, was a well-known figure in the Dokuchaevo rural district, where he lived since 1989. He was married with two children and five grandchildren. Authorities have detained a 22-year-old suspect in connection with the crime.
Batanov was not only a dedicated family man but also a significant contributor to his community. He graduated from Dokuchaevo Secondary School in 1989 and later from Kokshe Academy in Kokshetau. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in the district's urban life, working as a volleyball coach for 29 years. Since 2020, he led Burbat LLP, contributing to the socioeconomic development of the area.
A pre-trial investigation into Batanov's unlawful killing is currently underway. Despite the lack of reliable public information about his birthdate, his impact on the Dokuchaevo rural district is undeniable. His passing has left the community in mourning.
