Proposal for Worker Radiation Protection Directive Up for Commission Discussion
In the heart of Wiesbaden, engineering works and road closures, notably the closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, have disrupted the routes of several bus lines. From August 18, 2025, lines 3, 6, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49 will experience rerouting, as detailed below.
The closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring has impacted these lines, causing them to deviate from their regular routes. Lines 3, 6, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49 will reroute around the closed section, with specific stops altered. For the exact new routes and affected stops during this period, consult the ESWE Verkehr (Wiesbaden's public transport operator) detour updates.
Lines 22 and 27 (Destination: Vocational School Center and Leisure Pool) will start at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop and continue via Siegfriedring and Hasengartenstraße to the replacement stop on Weidenbornstraße. From the replacement stop, Lines 22 and 27 will proceed via Weidenbornstraße and Mainzer Straße to the "Welfenstraße" stop. Line 27 (Destination: Leisure Pool) will return to the regular route after Hasengartenstraße.
Lines 3, 6, 33, and 49 will reroute from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße and Gartenfeldstraße to Mainzer Straße. Line 27 (Destination: Leisure Pool) will reroute from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Weidenbornstraße, and Hasengartenstraße. Lines 16, 28, 37, and 45 (Direction: South Cemetery, Mainz, Nordenstadt, Raiffeisenplatz) will reroute from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Welfenstraße, Weidenbornstraße, Brunhildenstraße, and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to the regular route. Lines 3 and 33 will return to the regular route via Hasengartenstraße after Hasengartenstraße, and will run in conjunction with Line 27 (Leisure Pool) to Hasengartenstraße.
For precise new routes and specific stops, ESWE Verkehr's website or their local traffic info updates must be consulted as they provide the official and up-to-date changes on the bus network, including detailed maps and stop modifications due to this temporary closure. The current timetable information can also be found in the interactive network plan on www.netzplan-our.de.
